We were doing a lab in high school science... dissecting chicken wings (back when they were cheap) to learn about different tissues and how muscles and bones connect and work. One kid asks which part is the meat? You know, the meat that you eat? I told him that was the muscle, but depending on what you are eating it might also be fat or skin or connective tissue, like gristle. I freaked out a lot of 17 yr olds and created a few vegetarians.NOPE or at least not for Catholics all sea food is allowed.

The part of seafood that you eat is muscle, unless you like caviar... so it's meat in my book, and yummy. I eat it whenever I can find good stuff and have enough to pay for it, which is not often enough. Seafood from the sea is my preference too.
Never heard of that until you showed me... Weren't you feeding it to the chickens?I never had those before OR heard of anyone else eating them. How about polk?
Granny would never have those around!OR empty cottage cheese containers
Well now, that's pretty dang proud.Actually I'm prouder than a two peckered billygoat.![]()

Of course it worked.
