Granny's gone and done it again

Crap H2O. It’s funny. One of my friends is all well you can get chicks locally from backyard breeders!

No. I don’t want to raise chicks and then have to euthanize them if that’s what it comes down to. I’ll stick to what I’ve got. If I have to buy eggs I buy eggs. If I get a broody I’ll let her brood but I’m not introducing outside chickens.

My first son was born today in 1985. How is your DD doing, Bruce? How have you been?
Busy as heck at school, born 1993 last Saturday. Making plans to retrieve her on April 18th. Her school starts winter semester really early in Jan. DD2's school started late Jan and got out mid May. Many a year DW1 and I left on Mother's Day for the 3 day drive to Wisconsin. Glad we only have to drive half as far to get DD1 in New Brunswick.

I get 1.50 a dozen and yes the layer is cheaper then 15 bucks was doing "fast math" and then sold another 6 dozen after that post .
$1.50? What to the cr@ppy egg farm eggs go for in the grocery store? Around here you see signs for eggs, minimum is $3.00/dozen, $3.50 and $4 not uncommon. Grocery store mark up on the commercial "free range" eggs, usually $5.

You forgot the biggest news that Granny is "expecting'
:wee Really? You had them checked?

At least a full refund is good. No point 8n getting chicks if everything has to be dispatched.

New case in northern calif. We may be next.
Oh no. Where in N. Cal? That's why I cannot believe that there are any sort of poultry swaps allowed in CA or in Arizona. It's just too risky, and it's spreading now. :(
