Right. Some breeders want to call them "lavender" but the governing body won't approve that, they approved "self blue".

We have a breeder here that says her are mauve.

...bloody brats. Mil texting me “they have chicks at tractor supply!!” And chided me for keeping my flock closed for now. Too bad. Who knows. If I went and they had breeds I really wanted sexed I may cave. But I want a super mixed flock. Sooo...That and I don’t want to run the risk of raising bitties then having them under a euthanasia order.

I did some clean up of sticks outside, lots on the ground around the house. And i cut some green ones up to put away in the garden shed for kindling next year.

Well I just got mine today. Maybe they’re slow in getting them out this year.

Sigh. I think I’m going to spend my time reassessing which chicks I want to order next year. Or whenever they’ll ship to me lol

always a step ahead Cap. Tom said since all these tree came down this winter we should pick up a couple ricks of wood. I said its too hard to keep a fire going any more.

I got 18 eggs from the LF and I didnt gather from the other coop . There were probable a couple dozen in there but I know some has been sitting and I have maybe 5 LF over there so I wouldnt know a good egg from a bad one and I dont need them anyway.
Lady that sold me the tolbunt pair contacted me wanting eggs from them.
