She was enjoying sleeping in while I was getting ready for work this morning...jerk dog.

Sickly red is still hanging in there. Still comes out...eats...it’s not her time yet.

Instead of feeding 2-3 bottles a day, I’m trying to mimic mama and feed little snacks (1-1.5 pints) every few hours. I’ve read studies from dairy farms about how more frequent feedings keep the abomasum (fourth stomach) more active, and creates better animals long term. Cattle people always talk about the big round grass bellies on last year’s calves, so I’m trying to get away from that. I want her to have pretty lines.
