Rod who has worked with cattle for years and my self are both having a HARD time trying to figure out who might be close to calving. The 2 goldens are do soon one seems to be carrying the calf high and tight and the other seems to have dropped low and close to the ground. Neither one has the same type of belly as a week ago. ANY ONE ???????????

Not a yak person, but i bet the one carrying low goes first. Ha, Granny said the same thing.

I think you’re right. Well. While she’s still chickening - she’ll live her life out. When she stops chickening/eating....that’s when we’ll take matters. Until then, she’s getting spoiled by hubs and I.

Today i got the Mille Fleurs and bantam cochins out into one side of the original coop. One cockerel was going around pecking everyone! Out with him. I have lots to sell. Oh and there are some young CL pullets in there as well.
