I dont know anything else that makes a mark like that. If it was a bug it would be raised. You can try to poke it and see if old blood comes out or keep an eye on it and if it grows then get it checked out.

Good morning all. This might be the first time I have been the first to post of the day!

Going to be another hot day and my dad has a planned power outage for some work being done on the line somewhere, so he is on his way over for the day. He's bringing a chainsaw and we are going to hack away at all of the oak "saplings" that turned into trees a few years ago. What a mess!
