Sigh. Really on hubs to get our health insurance settled. We’re on open enrollment at my work for just a little bit longer so if I have to hop on our expensive stuff I will...have a scary spot show up on the weekend on my finger. At first I thought it was a bite or allergic reaction to something garden like - it was like a blood spot under the skin but now it’s all turned brown. Hmm. Concerning. View attachment 1750729

looks like a blood blister I current am "sporting" a new one and don't remember doing it. Happens to me when I seriously pinch the skin causing a small bleed under the skin. NO worries.

Thanks all. I guess I needed the reassurance. Just kinda made me go whiskey tango with it darkening like that.

Time to clean up after dinner. Hubs swept (!!!) while I cooked. It was magical.

My jubilee orph hen found dead today. Thats what happens when you brag on them I guess. @Wyorp Rock saved her life once. Prolapse . I knew she didnt feel good yesterday. I should of incubated her eggs at least once. Looked to be it came back again .

I did some research Star. I did read there is a melanoma that can mimic a blood blister but you would of already had a mole of some sort to be in that spot for it to be considered .

Thanks Wyorp, I was/am bummed about it but WE kept her going for a while hu? She went fast. She was still very heavy to drag her out of the coop. At least she didnt suffer too bad (I think). I found her under the roost.
