I think I got Nifty to take an ad down once. It was bright flashing lights and hurt my eyes and gave me headache. I told him if Robert was seeing it it could cause seizure. Anyway I didnt see it after that.

Nifty doesn’t have any control over the ads we see. Google puts up stuff we have searched for on google same with Facebook.

WEll I prob won’t be on this thread much, the ads are too annoying and it is really slowing down my iPad.

You should start a thread in the complaints section, or whatever they call it. Nifty doesn't want to lose members because of ads, so if you tell him, he can make tweaks so it's less annoying.
Hope it gets better so we don't lose you!

How do you lose electric 2xs in one day? Every flipping time its when I go grocery shopping. It was raining pretty good and being the duck I am I went out on the porch. I seen it coming peeps ! I dont know if it was a strong wind or a small tornado but it was fast ! Just as I slammed the storm door shut I seen a huge tree go next door to me and then total darkness. Just now back on. I have been watching the electric co work and they got here 10 mins. after I called. I still hear the electric chain saws going .

Wow. Glad it wasn't worse and they responded so quick. When I was a kid, the power would usually be out for a couple of days... one time over a week! Too many people living here now... it rarely goes out and is fixed quick if it does.

Well, dark thirty, and I am UP. About an hour ago, Scooter had a grand mal seizure. He seems okay now, sleeping, but I am pretty shook up. Been researching causes, and none of what I read sounds good for onset in an older dog... brain tumor, liver or kidney failure, blood sugar problems. Poor baby. I guess we will be seeing a vet tomorrow. Hopefully it was just a one-off. Hopefully.

Just realized "grand mal" means big bad. yup

Oh, and I have a Serama hen isolated in the garage. She is also having seizures and one of the other hens beat the crud out of her, bloody missing comb. This hen has been slowing down the past few weeks, so I knew something was wrong. I didn't want to mess with her because she has always been very standoffish... hates being handled and freaks out (we call her Pisspot), so I didn't want to cause more stress for her. Don't know if the seizures came first or the beating caused them. Didn't think the others would try to kill her. Birds are brutal.

Forgot to post these last night.

Bubba's game last night turned into a real ballgame! The sun was in their little eyes for the first few innings, but after it went down a bit they were hammering it! They won 11 to 5. Bubba didn’t hit anything and he cried on the way home. He can hit in the yard, but not in games. His swing in games looks slow and half-powered. We can’t figure it out.
