Granny's gone and done it again

Thanks Camping.

What in the world is that cat doing to you? I'd keep an eye on him

Here's a mower that might can help you with that tall grass, Granny.

haha! I have a boy that would brave his killer allergies to mow with that!

:( Maybe she'll come by and say hi

My grandma. Dad's dad. She taught me to sew. She was a librarian at a k-12 school and I used to spend so much time with her as she read or repaired books. Everything I am, I owe to her.
So sorry about your grandma. :hugs
How long to get to Shreveport? If you can possibly go, I would do it. My grandpa was in the hospital with a broken hip and dementia. He was even more disoriented than usual, refused his medication and other instructions. He thought I was his daughter (my mom) so he trusted me and I could get him to take the pills, which helped a little bit.

It’s three hours. The last time I went to visit, she didn’t know me.

I have no idea Pert, I didnt even notice that.

Camping, I would as well if for no other reason you dad wants you there. I hope every thing goes ok. Elderly and broken hips seem to go together. It sometimes takes a very long time to get over it.

Why u that stiff after 3 hours of sleep?
Good morning grannyland. Cooking biscuits & eggs.
I was before I went to bed. I think its the rain. All my bones and muscles are screaming. I think it was too much stiffness for only 3 hrs too but there it is. Feeling like the tin man.

Blue skies and bright sun today! Haven't seen that in a while. Big grocery shopping day. I've been a hermit and haven't been in over a week... supplies are dwindling!

I have 3 Orpintons, and all 3 went broody on the same day last week. Peach, the hatchery buff, gave up after one day. Amazing that she still lays the occasional egg at 7 yrs old. Jubilee project orp, Figgy, lasted 2 days and quit after I took away her egg for the second time. Buster Posey, the aptly named cuckoo orp, is still determined. She is sitting in a corner on the floor of the coop, no eggs except for for the rare day someone sits and lays next to her. She's starting to lose weight already too. I hope the sun will draw her out today. Most times I've found mites  in the coop, they've started with a broody hen. Maybe I'll take Buster for a car ride. That might get her out of the broody trance!

My cross jub/polish has been broody forever. I havent had eggs in a couple weeks. I need to candle /toss and I think that will break her unless some are about to hatch. She keeps swapping nests.
