Granny's gone and done it again

Happy mothers day Wishing and H20, I just pulled a good one. I got a bag of chips and dip and got the computer in my lap then picked the chips up, upside down that is. At least it wasnt the dip.
And you have Hoover dogs to vacuum up all the crumbs. :p

Hubs discovered where the Legbar is laying her eggs.

13 whole and 6 broken. Looks like wild birds were eating them. They were inside a small fenced area protecting a little orange tree. Dummy had to fly in there when there are perfectly good nest boxes in easy reach.

Not sure which one is doing it. Both probably, since the main pile has extra calcium deposits on the shell, and the three in the back are smooth.

I think they are done with this spot since I got a smooth egg in the coop yesterday and Buster was sitting on a bumpy blue egg 2 days ago. Either that, or I have to start looking for yet another nest. :hmm

Cooking up the eggs to feed back to the mob, and maybe some for Scooter and the cats.

Hello everyone. Happy Mother's Day to all the mommies. Boys took me out for lunch in Calistoga. Very nice day and pretty drive over.

Granny, glad you made it to the swap, even if it was short. Was it raining? Maybe you can sell some birds at a TSC swap if there are some coming up. Sorry you are feeling so bad.

Jane, grandson is very cute. :love

Pro, your goat house pics reminded me I wanted to try to make an arched pole bean arbor out of cattle panels. Maybe run some cucumbers and pumpkins up, tomatoes too. Something like this

Cap, it's amazing how much you get done despite feeling bad. My hip has been giving me fits for a few months now, and it's my good hip too. :hmm Tweaked my back over nothing this morning, so taking it easy until tomorrow. Just got to keep trying, I guess.

Camping and Pert, hope you all aren't getting too much rain. We won't see any until October. Grass on the hills is already starting to dry and fire season will begin in a few weeks. Maybe my dry-ness will make your rain seem not so bad. :)

Hope everyone is doing well! :frow
We've been getting a lot more than I'm used to. We're four inches over average for this time of year. Guess it beats the drought we were in for so many years. Glad I got my riding mower to working.
