Granny's gone and done it again

The goat coop is about twice that size.

Molasses?

Bubba also mentioned a spot on her leg. When I move her to the goat coop I’ll check her over. I’ve seen a few on the fb page that look like that. Maybe she wasn’t getting enough to eat? Roxie was very small the whole time she was pregnant. The feed store said to give her meat goat pellets? Is there a better feed source? I’m trying to find good hay.
Yes, hay is important. Also a lot of fresh leaves, they love that.

Granny, look up Carolina wren nest
Such a cute bird.

Camping’s DH went and did it.

Heavy bred nanny, lamancha with a wet bag, and a lamb.

Wow Camp, DH been doing some sofa surfing? This crew will make a great addition to the camp farm. Will the Lamancha adopt the lamb?

Bla aint the word for it. I dont think thats it Jane, that one has a pretty song. This one sounds like someone done run it over.
Made the bills. Robert took them to the road and brought 3 more down. They increased my insurance on the van by $50.00 Theres no reason for that. More then doubled.
:( Hope they can reduce your rate. You haven't had any accidents... that should count for something.

Carolina wren is common in your area and the nest description matches perfectly. Bottom right on the link you can play the songs it makes. Some sound like a cicada.

Bewick's Wren range is close to you, but shows not exactly in your area. Tail is longer, so shorter Carolina wren tail matches better. I thought it fit because it has some crazy calls, low and buzzy sounding in addition to sweet chirps.
Bewick's wren is now #1's second favorite bird because the name is pronounced Buick. haha! That car is his baby!

Just came inside after doing a lot of feeding and watering. I took that polish chick out of the brooder. Leg was terrible. Decided to cull it. When I was checking it, I discovered mites! So I planned to move them to a different cage anyway. Treated them and set up one of the quail cages as a brooder. Now I need the really scrub down the brooder and spray it. Sigh. And I have not hardly touched my bedroom or bathroom. I was trying to get those bathroom chicks out to the brooder.
Sorry about your little polish.
Don't use the word hate very often, but when it comes to mites, I hate them :mad::mad:

Sorry I’ve been away. Been a rough weekend. Goats had lice (I found on Friday but checked Monday and they didn’t have any) I treated them Saturday. Fleur has pink eye something awful. Started treating on Saturday also. Left eye is so cloudy today that I gave in and gave her a shot, though I killed her. Coccidia is making its way through my brooders again. Lost 5 fully feathered EE chicks. Hawk hatched her babies and lost 2 today because she stepped on them.
Sorry for the bad news, but glad you are back!

We made a gluten free one couple of years ago. The hardest part was figuring out what to do with 12 egg yolks.
Make lemon curd. :drool
Walking around the yard yesterday, I remembered one other legbar nest site... that makes 4. Dopey Legbars.

and Yuri is checking for puppies again. :lau Worse then a kid at Christmas looking for presents under a tree.
Uncle Yuri, right? The youngster is the papa? Pups need a good uncle. Since Lu is not an enthusiastic mommy, I'm going to predict 10 pups, a la Murphy's Law. :D

No I havent added him. He isnt going to drive. I watched the test crash dummy in my van. Scary stuff
:hmm Then drive super safe. No unsafe passing at high speeds!

Here are two other pictures.

The sides were really droopy, but seemed to have tightened up a bit since she’s eaten.
I bet she complains to her friends about having saddlebags.
Wonder if she's got 4 kids packed in there... ouch :th

No clue. There was a goat breeder at the sale that I met. He said she looked 2-3 weeks out
Poor nanny. Glad she's got such a good home with you.

My grass is up to the top of the air conditioner now. It will kill it w/ no air around it.
See about finding some free scrap wood, plywood works good, to lay across the grass and kill it. You got room in the van for wood!

Oh for heavens sake, I had to pull a tick off my nipple! These bugs are getting ridiculous!
Ow! Ticks are just big mites :mad::mad:
