I had about 4.5 hours of sleep last night, ready for a nap but a ton of stuff to do. Still not done unloading the truck.

My nap was 3 1/2

I didnt check his temp. I am going by Robert on the fever as he said Bandit is much warmer then the other 2. was, I dont know if he still is or not.

Ouch Cap ! When you get Sunny home you will be taking breaks from the yard . Are going to house break or paper train?

First we will use potty pads in the house, plus I plan to use a dog exercise pen outside in the grass. She will get put in the pen when we first go outside, and when she potties she will get praised. Then taken out of the pen.

Cap, Isnt it harder to house break them if your letting them go in the house ? That has always confused me.
I will never have another Star. When I brought her home, I didnt take her in the house right away. I walked her around the yard where she was allowed to go and I peed in the dog yard. She watched me and peed then we came in. She never had the first accident . She even run to the door when she is sick to her stomach.

oh, and she house broke the other 2. Frosty was a yr. and in the house when I got her but she wasnt house broke.

You teach them to go in a spot, hopefully near the door. When they get older and have more bladder control, they can just go outside. But if she will use potty pads it's good when traveling or raining.
