If a dog is matted badly, the only safe way to clip them is with a #10 blade. Guards get stuck in the mats.

Oh I know. I groomed mom's cocker spaniel for years. He never had razor burn though.

Major score! I got a free truck load of materials, including a 12' piece of roofing tin, lots of reclaimed barn wood, mostly 4x4s, metal pipe, PVC pipe, concrete blocks, rocks, and a small round garden pond!

Well, Bandit was matted pretty bad but not right there. He really didnt have much hair there. Not like the rest of him. He refused to come to bed again and stayed on the couch. Not active today either . Very quiet. The Bandit I always wanted but now that he is like this I prefer to see him making a menace to the house.

The groomer really did a job on him. Too bad you don't have some silvadene.
