I am fixing the roof on the rabbit hutch to be
converted to use for grow out chickens. Waiting for paint to dry on the roof support where I will be joining 2 pieces of metal. And taking a few pictures of the bantam cochins.

I am really getting annoyed with these snakes! Hubby saw a copperhead today, and I found a king snake busy eating quail!

Its jaw looked messed up from swallowing my full grown quail!

I did not know pigs could smile.
Cap, its jaw is unhinged from swallowing the bird. Thats how they eat stuff bigger then their mouth. Copperheads are said to smell like a cucumber so if you get a whiff of cuke , run.
We are supposed to have sever weather this evening/tonight.

We are supposed to have rain all day tomorrow, hope they are wrong.
That king snake was very smelly today!

Cap you need to start killing them. 1 is fine but you are in snake heaven!

Killing them is no solution, they need to keep the copperheads under control. I just drive them far away. They are good for mouse control too.

The river is flooding, snakes are coming in with all that water. We have a long riverfront area.
