morning, Too hot for me and I havent even been out.
How do you reduce ph Cap? Water changes? Found the betta stuck in a shrub right under the filter flow . He isnt dead but he aint far from it. Lost color.
You need ph down. Let me look up something. How do you know your ph is high?
 
To lower ph, add one ml of vinegar per gallon. To raise ph, use a small amount of baking soda or soda ash. But until you know what the ph is, you could just make it worse.
A product called Tetra correct ph should get the ph closer to 7.0, which is neutral.

You are welcome. I used to buy a cheap test kit, you filled a small tube half full, then added the indicator solution. If it turns blue, it is alkaline, yellow is acid, green is neutral. Much cheaper than test strips I would think.
