Well in the end, I only got one window frame made. I decided to move the California valley quail youngsters into the barn after I moved the adult pair that hasn't laid any eggs out. Maybe more sunlight will do it. Of course, as soon as I knelt down to brooder level, Mini thought I wanted to play. I was nervous the birds would get out because they are very flighty. Any way, once I clean the brooder I can get some birds out of my bathroom. Up to 4 brooders at the moment. One has just 3 chicks in it, and the two females are spoken for at the swap. Oh heck, I forgot to get chick starter out of the barn. I am going to have to go back out. They eat like pigs!
