My pre coffee thoughts.

Education is insane and they expect a bachelors degree to answer the phones nowadays. I’m not saying free tuition but something needs to be done to make it more affordable. More push on trades schools may help?

Healthcare - it’s a freaking scamaroni down here. Holy crap. How much a family is expected to pay for healthcare insurance blows my mind. And even then - copays, deductibles, etc. no wonder so many people “self medicate” (to bad ends) or don’t find the help they need for problems OR wait until they’re so gibbled it’s insane.

Well. The truck shopping went well. Hubs took one out for a test drive. I did not since...well. 1. Early stages and 2. I’m not familiar with that area AT ALL, busy, and after dark before we got to the driving part of today’s portion. We’re going to stop by the closer dealership and waste their time to see if we can see a certain paint color and take one out. Turns out, as we saw on a diesel f150 lariat the tow mirrors ARE power folding so HA someone was just trying to get us to spend $$$$$ on a “platinum” trim.

We’ve also realized moonroofs suck. My parents would never fit in the backseat without having to bend their necks cause they eat up so much roof space. I was already sold on not having one, but after sitting in the backseat of one without the moonroof....yeah. Solidly sold on not having that.

Hubs is calling this our midlife crisis

Morning all. Ling in the incubator has 2 pip holes now. Maybe tonight I'll have a baby!

I can't afford health insurance, so I don't have it. You have to wheel me into a clinic because I have to be in bad shape to go. I dont have vision or dental either. They want $300 for a cleaning, that's $600 a year. Thats almost 2 full work checks from the school. Thank goodness I can see because I cant afford glasses either lol

I'm not saying I need this or that but a affordable insurance that you could get at any point would be nice. Most have very short windows to even apply for and if you miss it then you are SOL.
