Well. LA is a poophole. There’s a reason I do what I can to avoid (traffic though is the biggest reason I avoid!)

The homeless issue is huge down here too. You go downtown San Diego you see tent encampments everywhere. It’s insane. I mean, we had homeless in Calgary. There were those with mental illness and addiction issues but they weren’t so in your face aggressive and putting up encampments blocking sidewalks...

As far as the rat issue goes - see that’s the problem with rat poisons they get introduced into the food chain and you get other animals dying from it.

Working poor/homeless - yeah. Rent is insane. Housing is insane. Why we have people living out of their rv’s. Though we have two types of those - the working poor and the addicts/mentally ill. Some of em just are doing the best they can with what they’ve got. Others are downright freaking scary.

I pulled the eggs from the bantam cochin hens. If they were going to hatch, they would have by now.
I have been resting most of the day. Just went out to assemble the playground with slide for the chickens. Hurt my hand banging on it, dang it! Anyway, the chickens are busy staring at it, lol.

We’ve been painting. Living room is now a color called Solemn Silence - kinda a blue grey. (Ironic hubs expressed a hate for colour like that and that’s what he chose...)
