Granny's gone and done it again

I was afraid of them all my life and found a half grown meat turkey at the swap. She was really sweet. I ended up putting her down because of her feet. I named her JR. Because every time she seen me she would squat. :gig
Most turkeys are just nosey. Very nosey.

Not sure if it would help, but birdman kept netting in the top of his pheasant runs, otherwise they would fly straight up and snap their necks when they hit the roof. Could you add ghillie netting so they don’t feel exposed?
I am going to build cages with solid sides and top, so just the front is covered in wire.

Granny is that insurance just auto? Or is it auto and homeowners combined? That seems excessive....ours is about $120/month (auto only) and that’s full coverage on the truck and basic on the off-road truck, turdwagon and motorhome. (It’s gone down. It was over 200/month before we traded in flex and superduty for the truck....

LOL Its the number she pulled when she got there. 2 ahead of her.
Here they have numbers by the task you need done. First a letter then a number. Thus calling L42 and you have L44 doesn't mean your name will be the 2nd one called.

She’s still got a little milk but isn’t letting them nurse.
More for you! I guess that girl will always look like she is a day short of delivering.

and imho chickens are easier to "replace" then a dog you love.
Kinda, and yes if born on the "farm". Not so good when you get all your chicks as day olds from a hatchery.

evidently actually "breeding" makes for tuffer steaks.
WTH? And is there any research to back that up?

He said he would have offered more but the cost of shipping was double what he expected after he finally actually found a shipper. NOT sure how that is my fault/problem.
It is your problem because he likely has a max number in mind to get the animals on his farm.

OH and my sister called to wish me a happy (belated) birthday today.
Better (WAY) late than never I guess.

hay bill was $1625.00 this year BUT with last year's carry over and the hay I got off the farm this year I might actually have enough hay for 2 winters on the place now.
Seems like a pretty small number given all the yaks you had. They must be pretty feed efficient.
