Something got into my TSC chicks. I found a couple of bodies, and three are gone without a trace. I startled up a hawk the other day... a couple that I found were soaking wet so I don’t know if Peachy had them foraging and they got chilled in the rain or what. I was actually missing way more, but the next day a few had come back. I lost the RIR, an EE, both frizzles, the white silkie, and Hope. I’m missing one more, but I can’t remember what it was. I still have a black and a splash silkie, a few EEs, a couple tiny banties, and the chick that Peachy hatched. 10 all together.

Sorry about all your babies... and little Hope.

Yeah, I think CA has the most expensive gas in the USA. With the exchange rate I think the gas I bought in PEI Canada was $3.35/gallon.


How do you plan to clean it if you can't get a piece of wood in the top?


Getting up at 5 wouldn't be much fun but seems like it would be necessary.

That’s not really fair. She’s a very sweet older lady and she has been beat down a little bit by life. It’s just...she’s not really getting set up for success at work. She can’t keep up with all that’s getting thrown at her and I think she just doesn’t know how to delegate/bosses don’t give full support to delegate.
