it was SO hot today. Someone said it was record breaking here.

I read somewhere 13 weeks, so probably try to this week. I haven’t done shots either. and I need to worm and look up cocci again. Their coats are rough and they just look a bit depressed, not bright eyed.

Thats what I knew about fish eggs. It spreads fast but I dont know a thing about snail. I cant remember when they were laid either so I thought maybe they are going to hatch.

Mollie just came by and picked up some pullets, chicks, and eggs. She got my naked neck chicks, and the cutest ones. I think only black ones are left. Not my fav, but it’s fine. I didn’t charge her, it’s a trade for her watching my farm at Christmas.

I went out and built the frame for the door of the run. And cut some pieces of pallet to size. Did some painting and staining. Hope to finish that side tomorrow.
It was sprinkling in Gretna, but we got no rain here. I think one of the pecan trees died.

My corn on the cob has a couple white kernels. Does that mean anything Alley?

The plant probably just got mixed with white corn. Out here, it's hard to find yellow sweet corn. Everyone wants white. I prefer yellow... has more flavor.

curtains re-hooked and hung, switch plates and outlet covers on , fart fan in bathroom cleaned and good to go. Carpet cleaned, all shades and domes on the light fixtures, toilet set replaced, had to suck water up out of the basement, TOO much rain

did a temp fix on some of the outdoor lights as strong winds and low hanging branches did a number on them

building inspector for the "new" ins company given a tour.

all the end of the month books done except for balancing the checkbook need the bank
statement

payroll quarterlies done and checks in the mail.

field corn works well also IF you get it nice and young and add sugar to the boiling water.
