So I took one day off.

ONE DAY.

mother of crap never again. Had other admin try to help with payroll so I need to double check everything she’s done - she doesn’t check the employee numbers or job numbers and our foremen do make mistakes. I can’t say anything other than smile sweetly and thank her for her help since...well....she’s like an abused little puppy who’s been dealt horrible cards. BossMan was gone for a while so invoices piled up to be approved. So a massive stack to be checked/entered. BossLady tell me oh. They’re going to be out of town (family emergency so I get this) and they need to run checks today. So crap. Panic reconcile statements and enter invoices that were waiting in my huge stack that bossman just got to me...have barely even touched payroll yet. Oi. I think I’ll be in at the crack of dawn tomorrow...

Sigh. And....shouldn’t have gone to havasu. Broke. And I have the friend’s parents “oh where are we going for your birthday dinner? Oh this rather expensive restaurant in town?”

No. Just can we stop right there. I don’t want to rush home on my birthday to make it back to town at a decent hour for the girls...(the friend’s kids) and sigh. I know that’s bad of me to say. I may just check in with the friend and see if we can do a pizza dinner at their place on the weekend instead. Easy, cheaper, and the girls would have toys and stuff to entertain themselves.

And today’s lunchstrocity. Don’t judge. I honestly haven’t had time to do anything.

I guess I always wondered if dads did that kind of stuff w/ their little girls.

Depends on the Dads and girls DW has had her hair professionally done once. DD1 has had her hair professionally done once. She was in a Renaissance themed wedding when she was about 14, I took her to the salon. DD2 has had her hair done maybe 6? times, nothing fancy just somewhat more complicated than cutting a couple inches off the bottom.

I never seen a cat sit at the table and eat off a plate like that before. It was cute but if Tom had seen it he would of been mad I am guessing.

The power company (PG&E - 16M customers) was blamed for the Paradise fire, they've filed for bankruptcy due to the claims. They get shit if they don't cut power and there is a fire, they get shit if they do cut power. Sometimes you can't win for losing.

Robert is smart enough to pass the electrician classes, he is smart enough to understand what happens to people with untreated diabetes. Get him the ugly facts, get them in his head. I hate to see anyone suffer like that needlessly!!!
