aww maybe it will come back , and they sure are , we have one chicken that anytime we open the door to the shed she tries her hardest to run in and hide, sometimes we miss her too and she spends the night in there . she loves to lay down in the hay bales and just relax

The owls live here, he's got a mate and they have a nest out in the back area of the properties. They're around the yard a lot early and late but usually in the trees where they're harder to see or get a pic. Our neighbor spotted them "doing the dirty" couple of months ago so I'm guessing they have a small clutch brooding. Or hatched? Don't know how long owls incubate? 🤔

LoL and that's one reason why my girls stay in a run... 😉
Can't imagine having to hunt down one at bedtime by searching garage, patio, pond area, at least your girl has a consistent hideout. 😁
 
they seem to be thriving , in a warm brooder and chirping away . the ducks are getting so big so fast but they still have like a month until they can go outside, and when i tell ya they are so fussy....we give them their vitamins with some water and mealworms and they go nuts and get mad when i take the empty bowl away and yell at me

LoL, the ducklings sound hysterical, demanding little critters! Have you offered them thawed frozen peas?

The barn swallows are moving in, poor things, don't know where they're finding mud for nest repairs. Betting their clutch will be small, it's so dry here we haven't seen mosquitoes in ages. Here's the male sitting on the porch fan right over me. (polite birds, they don't poop on us 🤣 )

oh wow how pretty!!! and yea they liked the peas a little but the meal worms is their fav right now , i am nervous i put them back outside today in their little pen while im at work, i know in my head they will be ok but my mama heart is so worried

If they have food water shelter, they should be okay. They're in a predator proof area?
