The kids are really loving getting on the school bus in the mornings. I’m testing the set brew feature on my coffee pot for tomorrow.

OMGosh, I am so happy those days ended. We did the coffee pot like that and probably havent done it since his last day. Most kids hate riding the bus. Whats the secret ?

Yes, but better than another fire. Wires went down in about 100 locations, and I'm glad they were not live and starting fires. PG&E says it will be 10 years before the situation is resolved enough that we won't need power outages in dry summer winds. If that proves true, we might end up getting a generator. I just dislike listening to them drone on and on.

Does that have a hidden meaning for me ??
I dont disagree with them cutting power to save lives. Its the fact that it wasnt needed and even I could see that. The wind wasnt blowing. Not when they cut it. And they had no plan in place for the handicapped was another reason.

No clue. I have no idea why they like it right now.

I left my bathroom window open for a while today and now there’s a lizard in my shower. Thinking about moving him to the kitchen for the flies. Or the laundry room- he can be nice and warm all winter in there.

No hidden meaning. You know I will just say it.
They do have plans for handicapped, elderly, and medical dependency. The people are supposed to get themselves registered and be on the list. They even post how many of medical needs people are being affected. During the fires, it was the sheriff dept that went house to house getting folks out. Most that died were elderly. There was no time, no chance for help to arrive, it went that fast. I am happy to have them cut the power if it saves someone from such a horrendous death... and we were all breathing the smoke.
