He got bitten on his belly, not his hand. It was a red circle with an even redder spot in the middle. It is barely detectable now, he is a fast healer.Cap, How is your DH hand ? Wouldnt mind seeing a picture of that either. There is a fake black widow spider. I have seen it. Orange spot on the wrong side .

There is a whole family of spiders that are similar, hard, shiny, hairless bodies, same proportions. Most out here are dark brown mottled, but at first glance you think it's black widow.
