I went out, moved quails to a different cage. Then I moved my young birds out to the brooder the quails were in. They were overcrowded in the barn brooder. I have been wanting to move them for a while.

Oh, and I looked at the new baby bunnies. There are three, and they look just like their Dad! White, with black and brown spots! I adore them! I will get pictures in about a week.

Ufh. Gotta run to tractor supply to get more stall pellets. That rain we had really mucked the coop. (Which is why I want to do an above ground coop next iteration.)

My betta has been kept busy all day trying to catch brand new babies. He just aint fast enough. Everyone else munching Zsquash. I will have to buy, boil freeze more then one next trip. I got 3 feedings from one. Snails starting to grow on it.
One of them keeps uprooting a plant. Arachenis ? Something like that anyway. I think its the elodia different name. Having babies mean they like their water/home so thats all good. Frozen brine really makes their colors pop . Very shiny . So except for the one plant, mission complete. One tank anyway.
They are really gonna be upset when I tackle the angels tank and remove all the blue plastic. Toms favorite tank. I will save it for last . Think I will either go after the one in my room or bathroom. Yes, I have a fish tank in my bathroom. LOL Lil 5 gal. I was using it for fry and baby snails but I dont need to anymore. Maybe I will give another betta a better home ? Orr...

Hey I had a five gal for a betta in my old house in Alberta in the kitchen.

betta in the kitchen, betta in the bedroom and 20 gal in the living room.

I put my betta in the 2 gallon glass jar today. The plant was growing crooked from floating all the time. Hoping it stays planted this time. He has so much more swimming room now!
