Thanks! We went to moms. Everything is fine. I’m getting a bit stressed about Christmas, though. We’ll really be moving at Christmas because the kids have school through the 20th. Earliest closing on the house will be the 6th.

I had a hard time moving and hope I dont have to do it again. It was just me for 2 households and I had lived there 25 yrs. Things I regret the most was leaving stuff behind I didnt think I would need. Outdoor decorations mostly.

Sigh, the stupid silkies went back in the nest box and didn't keep the chick warm. No more eggs hatched. My incubator can do better than that!

Anybody home?
We had a delicious meal yesterday. Turkey came out great. Everyone stuffed themselves and then got sleepy.

Today was cleaning up and getting ready for the big rain storm that's supposed to come tomorrow. Rain is welcome... and hoping it won't be so dang cold. Last two mornings, woke up to frost. 32 yesterday and 31 this morning. brrrr Too cold for this poorly insulated house.
Cold again tonight. Time to build a fire.
