I figured that was going to end up being their lot in life and they had good care while on this earth. Seems to be the lot of most species of male animals.

It does make me wonder who is better off though. The male, top of the herd, all you can eat to fatten them up then an early death or a hen, locked in a cage forced through the food to lay every day til she is no longer useful.. Thats extreme I know we dont treat them bad but .....

OR being whacked at about 8 weeks of age for cheap chicken.
