Its snowing ! I let the dogs out before I started the papers and nada and just now there has to be 1&1/2 in. down already.

Bruce, do you save any of your baby java ferns ? Im having a time trying to figure out what I should attach them to and their little so thinking I will have to use glue. Way too small for me to tie them.

I just pull out a bunch of the older nastier looking parts and toss them in the compost. Then replant what is left. I guess my aquarium is good for plants (at least Java ferns) because these grow quite well.

she has just really gotten BAD about letting me know they arrived.

I got an email saying my sister's stuff from Harry & David was delivered on Tuesday. Hadn't heard a thing so I sent an email to her Friday to make sure they had gotten it in the house since it is meat and cheese.

All this baking with no Christmas music as using the phonograph one album at a time is a ROYAL pain when your trying to bake cookies.

You need a tall spindle so you can stack the records and play them serially!

I can't imagine returning to the UK for Christmas or having Christmas with snow, I just couldn't do it.

I grew up in Southern California, just south of Los Angeles. Snow non existent of course. Never could figure out how people got themselves up mentally to drive 2 hours to the mountains to ski. Much easier to get in the mood when it is white outside!

I only have the one new plant but shes busy making me some babies ! I didnt like the rock I glued her to and cant move it now so I want to pick the right thing for the babies. Just cant figure out what that right thing is.

I finished my cards! And I am putting more ornaments on the tree.

They will be good next year. I think a few of us are having a hard time this year. Remember , its not required, its for fun and if your not having fun well....
