I have one bed in my daughter's room. It's disasembled. I leave it in there because you never know when they'll return.

I like to examine what I am buying too. The cost to make things overseas is amazingly low, depending on the country. Even on super sale clearance, the sellers aren't losing money.

Sometimes the stores take a loss on one thing just to get people in. example, coffee pot for $10. why? Cause your gonna need the filters and coffee long term.

its almost dark here already.
Sad he is going back so soon. I know it was a good vaca but dont stop you from missing them. What is the next holiday he might get some time off ?

He gets a week for spring break in March. Not sure if he'll come home. School term ends beginning of May, I think, so he'll be home then to get his wisdom teeth pulled.

I don't "make" my sofa unless someone is coming over, and even then I usually don't bother unless it's not family... a very rare event!

Winter is being pretty quiet. Not that many freezing nights. Just wish we could get a little rain

We have been doing pretty good on rain so far, it's mostly still soaking in, not much run off and the little vernal pools aren't holding any water yet. Hopefully by spring, the little ponds will be full in time for the frogs and other aquatic critters to spawn. Nice to green grass sprouting!
