they said where the fires were and where the pines were is where you will find it.

I'd either have to trespass or take wood from a public park, which is illegal. There is no manzanita at the farm since it's on a north facing slope. We don't have a lot of pine in this part of CA. I can ask hubs to keep an eye out on his way to work. Lot of burned areas after the last few years of fires.

and most people dont know they can get their own wood. I have one azalia bush in my yard that has never grown or bloomed. If I was able I would dig it up and use the roots for "spiderwood". also expensive.

What about your corkscrew whatever kind of tree that is I can never remember... hazelnut? That would look cool.

I slept for a change. Been up about an hr. Still not awake good.

Glad you finally slept. Hubby found a possum under the canoe. Shot it.

I made chicken soup slop for the chickens from a left over chicken carcass from Walmart. They were happy to get it.
Mostly I was cutting material and sewing. I did go outside for a little while.
