Good to know my internet Vet skills are working well.

We are not going to the cow palace. HORrible show for owners. They lock us in the building and we have to sit and answer questions from the public. It gets old very quickly. Questions like to they bite? D they shed? Do they eat a lot?

Similar to my 31 Y/O nephew. No idea how he got it but he did.

I asked my sis. Said she must have caught it eating out when some friends from high school came for a visit. Rare thing for her to eat out back then. Doesn't give ya a lot of confidence on restaurant hygiene. I worry more about hepatitis.

With the weird weather everyone has been having and the GCC (*) here where hens that have never laid before mid February after their fall moult are laying eggs now I'd say ANYTHING is "normal"!

Is it normal to have a broody hen this time of year?

I have a broody serama. Been using a red heat lamp for them on cold nights, so not sure what effect that has. My seramas are serious broody-monsters.
