Around here, the tree work is farmed out to private companies. They don't dare come on the property without permission... don't want to lose their gig if anyone complains.
I might have been the last person in the county to get a stupid smart meter. Kept refusing and had them put it off for almost two years from when they started. I knew it was just so they could raise the rates more easily.

Just squish them. The man used a stick with an angle at the top so it was flat on the glass. I used all sorts of nonsense. Guess I was around 12 at the time.

I almost pulled a Wishing today. On the way to the drs we seen a hawk that looked to be stuck in the barb wire fencing. Knew I didnt have time to stop but Tom and I had it all planned out to free him on the way back. He had his gloves ready , where we would pull over , ect.. Dang thing was still there but not even close to being stuck. LOL

speaking of hawk, I have been meaning to ask since Tom was in the hospital. I seen one of them with what I am going to call a head dress. Was that still a red tail? Seemed a little bigger.
