Granny's gone and done it again

So have you noticed a trend of which cows throw more females or is that even a thing ? Granny had one bull, what about the others ?

well out of 4 calf crops for the following

Star had 2 and 2 for me
Comet 3 boys and Hailey
Granny 1 and 2 heifers

3 possible calves from

Maiah, 1 bull and 2 girls
19 -- 2 bulls
Janet -- NOTHING

Enola had 2 live bulls and I think the doa calf was a bull as well.

Sheila had one of each out of 3 chances

well you tend to be a little "tuff/ruff" on the roo's but not usually pullets/hens

"they" say the sex is determined by the bull BUT cows can influence to some extent by altering the liquids during the travel time of the sperm.

So Maiah and Granny has dont the best so far. Would be nice to know if its genetic
