Granny's gone and done it again

Then mine is definitely Java Fern, they just choose to ignore the "sometimes" part below:
"Sometimes the Java fern will also develop new little Java Ferns on its leaves, which can be cut off after about 3 weeks after they start to grow, which can then also be planted."

I asked the pastor if I could borrow a planer, and he brought me the low tech kind. I feel like cap today. 💪🏼💪🏼
Ah, he brought you a PLANE, not a PLANER!

I didnt know there was any other kind.
This is an example of the "other kind". It is a surface planer, pulls the wood through and smooths the entire surface all at once.

Bruce , you must have really healthy plants then. The "sometimes" is when the plants are not happy. They sense danger and send out new little babies that will survive when they die. My java fern was LOADED w. babies. Hahahahaa Unfortunately they are super slow growing and it will take mine years probably to even get big enough to see.

In my expetience, Microsorium develop plantlets mainly when stressed and leaves are at their last. Young and healthy leaves usually do not develop plantlets. Leaves with plantlets soon de-attach and flow off. Even leaves that broke off, will often develop plantlets if left floating around.
- this MIGHT give food to thoughts about why. A plant not really thriving at particular place, or a leaf not able to sustain itself, by this method invest energy in identical offspring, that can float off to settle somewhere better suited for growing.

Hubby has been walking around for weeks with broken bones in his foot. He dropped a log on it. He won't go to the doctor.
Why are hubses so stubborn when it comes to that kind of stuff???

In chicken news....someone forgot to tell Crazy White Chicken that leghorns we’re supposed to be antisocial and flighty.

Well ok. She is a bit flighty if you move quick near her but she comes right up, inquisitive as can be.

Some people handle pain better then others. I remember Robert was around 5 yrs old playing w/ his cars and there was blood running down his forehead. He swiped it away so he could do whatever it was he was doing w/o it getting in his eye. Scared the crap out of me when I seen it. Or double ear infections and I would even know it til the dr checked him. It was hard to keep him healthy when he never complained about anything. Drs say he just dont feel pain like we do or dont express it like he should. So we made a ton of trips to drs if he even sneezed.
Me, I cant handle pain .

Star, She is so cute !

Sue, my leghorn was a social butterfly. She loved people and liked to be held. She was like a dog. Glad there are more non typical leghorns out there!
