A group of woman who meet up. Like for quilting, to discuss books they read, etc.

THAT looks really good. I dont know why you ask other people what they would do. I do see a nice yak rug under that coffee table though. LOL What is womans group?

Bubba looks so big. What is that metal and wood thing on the table ? I have too many questions sometimes.

Women’s group is a group of ladies who meet once a week. Most of my group don’t go to church. Most are in really difficult places in life. We just hang out and vent, basically. It’s a safe space for big feelings.

The metal/wood thing is a chime that I use for prayer. I was going to lead the group in a lectio divina, which is the repeating of a word, phrase, or short scripture. It was a bit weird with just two of us.

The chime has a really beautiful sound. It was a gift from a dear friend.

womans group sounds like when all my sisters got together for a gossip but they always ended up in a knock down drag out fight . Sounds fun !

My old group was a lot of fun. We drank wine and ate snacks. I’m co-hosting this group, but the other lady has been unable to come the past two weeks. It’s been a jarring adjustment. I’m fine, but it’s not easy for the others to settle in.

We had a pastor and a board member come out last summer and lead the staff in three types of meditation. The lectio divina was one of those. It stuck with me because it’s easy.

My sisters were rough tough women. Do you know who the highway men were ? Tough gang in south side of Detroit but they spread all over the place. My sisters ran one of them up a telephone pole w/ a cue stick. hahhaaa I would hear, uhoh here comes the H*** sisters !

So because of a different church they dont come now or because you moved and need closer friends ?
