I slept about 4 hours last night. Feel kind of cranky today, I think I need chocolate!

“Morning” all. I slept in a bit. But today I’ve done the dishes, cat litter, and installed the cat door into the garage.

I wonder if they are going to eat it. Why would you let it get that fat?

Just woke Robert up so we can go to walmarts and grab a microwave. Rather be napping.
Shadow wouldnt eat for Robert yesterday and refused my fried fish just now. He acts like he wants to eat . He will lick it then lick his tongue or whatever for a few mins after. I wonder if he has a bad tooth.. Going to check that out .

Is Robert still being a poop?

Lowes has an over the stove microwave for $160. Walmarts counter top is around $100.00 No idea what install would cost.

Is your current one over the stove? It's a lot to put in if they have to do the set up for the first time... ducting and vents and whatnot.

It's partly the breed. They will eat themselves to death and even ones at a healthy weight still look fat.

Smell his breath. If his kidneys have failed, there will be an odd odor.
For a 20 year old cat, I think just keeping him as comfortable as possible is the best thing. You could get a jar of baby food or canned cat food, gravy style, that he can lick up. If he's not drinking, it's a bad sign.

The one I have now is up there over the stove. I remember when they installed it they snapped it into a couple brackets . Took them all of 5 mins. I hate not going back to that because who wants a broken microwave in their torture chamber but I will go w/ a counter top . FFor now anyway. .

We have canned for him. I dont know if he will eat or not. Its possible he is drinking and I just havent seen him.
