sigh. Well if it makes y’all feel any better, I had boss son berating me that “I didn’t need to wipe down the doors as often as I do because that’s not how it spreads. It needs to be aerosol and breathed in..and since the virus was big and heavy it didn’t float around that long anyway. I said if that was the case how is it spreading so fast! I don’t use the wipes half as often as I should, but when I do, yes I do wipe down All The Things cause darn it I’m using ALL THE PARTS OF THAT DARNED BUFFALO.

meanwhile he’s saying this as he wears gloves all day. In his back desk. That he spent hours last week cleaning (cause he has nothing better to do? Dude get over yourself and help me with filing or something if you’re THAT bored!)

back to work tomorrow, part of me wants to say f it and just do a half day, the other part says f it I need money. I’ll have to see what I can bring home to do. Though that’s limited what I can do anyway cause any home work is not computer related.

Friday will be errand day. Wish me luck at the stores. I may go to the feed store though. And if they have chicks...

Morning all, Hearing aid place said they dont want me to come inside . Because I dont have a cell phone I am to knock on their doors and someone will come out to grab it then call me. Is this virus less contagious outside ? And wont they be touching what I am touching when they take the hearing aid ?

ATTENTION MEAT CONSUMERS....... As the packers continue to raise box beef prices to ridiculous prices spreads I would like to point out a few details. Right now with their box beef prices they are selling, it makess average fat cattle worth $235.71 per hundred weight in the meat. Translate that to what cash fat cattle should be worth is approximately 63.5% of the hanging weight. $235.72×63.5%= $149.67 per hundred weight is what cash fat cattle should be worth at that high of box beef prices. The average fat cattle prices this week have been $1.05 to $1.10. The packers are also getting a drop credit value at $107.72 of those cattle. If you take $149.76 what they should be worth -$110.00(at best)= $39.76 per hundred price difference. So if their butchering cattle weighing a average of 1,400lbs you take 14×$39.76=$556.64 profit to the packers. Wait you forgot to ad their bonus onto that! $107.72+$556.64= $664.36 PROFIT TO THE PACKERS!!!!!!! the farmers are LOSING $350 per head and the packers are PROFITING $664.36 per head. They are doing this with a smile everytime you go buy meat and sell cattle. Think about that for a minute.

Next county over and about 15 mins from here has their first covid case. Hospital still saying for Tom to come friday.

Take the Friday appointment. Might not get another chance for a month or two if the virus keeps spreading.

Federal guidelines are no more than 10 people in a place at the same time. Drive thrus and skyping are great ways to do keep businesses operating safely. The only way to stop this virus is to starve it of new victims. The virus's greatest friend is the person who thinks they can't get it and won't follow the guidelines. This is probably the biggest historical event in our lifetimes. We will all be sacrificing something to get through it.
Even though we are on a "shelter in place" in the Bay Area, and it's a pain, I am relieved they called it and almost everyone is following the restrictions. Inconvenience is a small price if we can save people from dying.

Why would that make us feel better? Your boss son is an idiot. You cleaning is what is keeping all of them from getting sick. (I hope THEY are paying for the cleaning supplies.) His wearing gloves is completely selfish because the virus can easily be spread by gloves... he should be washing his hands instead. Some new studies are showing the virus can remain in the air for up to 3 hours. It is NOT heavy. It is a light, single strand virus that is prone to mutation. You are doing the right thing. Seems to be your lot in life to be the "mommy" in your relationships.

New chicks! That would be nice. Between Newcastle and covid 19, you need a dose of new life. Hope they have some for you.

As long as they wash their hands, and I'm sure they will, any virus will be removed and not spread. Everyone in health care is trying to be super careful about not getting the virus. If our medical people go down, there won't be anyone left to save the sick. You are just beginning to feel the restrictions. Expect it to get worse.
Have you been for groceries? Are there things on the shelves now?

The freakin bosses. It’s no worse than the flu! But the economy! Zomg!
...and this is why I’m really starting to side with the eat the rich people.
This is really uncharitable for me to say but I think it would be eye opening if they caught it and it was more than “the sniffles”

(or I caught it and refused to come into work - Provided they don’t lay it all on the other admin. That’s my huge concern)

They should. Things will get back to normal sooner if we prevent viral spread now.
Tiny little Italy now has more covid 19 deaths than giant China... because China strictly quarantined their people, even to the point of padlocking doors to keep them in, and threat of imprisonment. Communists will do that sort of thing. Our government won't force us like that, but hopefully people will understand what is good for us all.
