Meanwhile my 6-week old chicks are enjoying their new coop, thinking a thunderstorm happens every night! Hope they enjoy the sound of rain on a tin roof like I do.

Welcome to Grannys . Cute chicks. are they all bantams ?

Thanks!! No bantams, just babies born on Ash Wednesday. can't believe how grown up they already look! Got a rare assortment, still trying to decide what a few are. Pretty sure there are Eggers, french black copper marans, a gold laced wyandotte, a partridge cochin and a welsummer. No clue on two others.

no worries! I'm excited as a new chicken mama to see them change almost daily. Olive is my avatar - I think she is a prairie bluebell egger. She has a cute little Crest and is growing a bit of a beard now. Very goofy and sweet girl. Looking forward doing the "fun" things for them now that the main coop and run almost done, like a swing and a chicknic table for treats!

God my coffee sucks. I wonder how tall Bruces plants will get in the tank? I am going to need something tall !
I have too many chores to do. I have the grass needs mowing , tomatoes needs planting, Gate needs installing and fish needs catching.
