Well. It’s official. My lorp hates the brown chicks. Speckled Sussex and Easter egger are now chilling in the brooder. Sprayed SS down with some wound care stuff and we’ll keep an eye on her.

need to get one more. I don’t like having just two together. Sucks in case something happens - but I think once they’re feathered out and don’t need a heat lamp I’m going to boot broody back to the main coop and toss all the bitties back together in the grow out coop.

came home and checked on them....Easter egger ran right out to me as she tends to do and the Sussex just ran between my legs and hid there a bit while I shooed the lorp back with her other bitties....and of course peach was also wanting attention...by the time I realized what happened to her I grabbed a box to temporarily toss them in, set up the brooder and away I went. Found the base for another chick feeder but gosh knows where all my chick waterers went. So I took the one that was in broody’s coop and tossed it in the brooder. They can use a normal sized one. Ran to the feed store that’s supposed to be open til eight but nope. Thanks covid. They were closed.

Im looking for a fish. LOL I think its called scarlet or rosy badas. at least that how it sounds like they are calling it. Cool little fish they had in w/ shrimp and I want to read up on them.

Can possums get distemper? rabies?

This might have been answered already but a possum just about can't get rabies bc it's body temperature is so low. It's virtually unheard of for a possum to get rabies.

there was like 30 people saying they want to give Tom some money. One man came by and said there would be others. There hasnt been others. One lady asked me to keep an eye on the mail today she sent a card. Same one thats supposed to buy him a wallet on a chain. I bet half those people dont send anything if any of them will I am doubtful.
