We have PRA in our breed, but we have a genetic test so as long as two carriers don’t get together the pups won’t have it.

Well crap. Easter egger passed during the night. Did not expect that. She was still active eating and fine last night. Sigh. Now I’ll have to get off a bit early today, bomb down to the feed store before they close at six and hope they still have chicks - can’t have the Sussex all by herself.

Neighbor who used to work for AT&T said the long range plan is to do away with all landlines. If true, that sucks.

It would REALLY suck! Our cell service is CARP. SOMETIMES can get a text through forget voice calls. Then there is the internet, ours comes through the phone line. Only other option is satellite. No thanks.

I guess too many graphics, ie ads.

No no. That was the Sussex that got pecked. She’s lonely but ok.
Hopefully she doesn’t cook today. Supposed to be warm - I turned down the heat lamp a little bit but didn’t want to turn it down too much.

The Easter egger had a bit of plugged up bum when I first got her - cleaned her out and thought she was doing ok. She was always very vocal though - no matter what so I’m wondering if something was up with her. She ate with a will last night though.
We will see what they have at the feed store tonight.
