well, we know green is starvation . foam is parasites. Probably cocci. I would treat w/ corid . Check and see if you can give vitamins w/ corrid , get a bottle of gatoraid and dilute it 50% . It is amazing stuff w/ littles. Scrambled eggs like cap said once a day but moisten their crumble for the rest of the feedings . Thats about the best I got Alley.

they are all eating I made sure they were in the food and water. Not supposed to give vitamins with corid. But after treatment you can. Hopefully something works. I don't want to lose any.

They were shipped? How was the weather? Too hot or too cold? They could have organ damage and need supportive care for awhile. Corid is a good idea. Cannot hurt.

yeah, it's been 80s in the day and 50/60s at night over here for about a week no idea of the temps farther west.

I know it might be from before they got the chick starter. They aren't eating as much as I thought 19 chicks would eat.

I cant believe I touched one of those things It was so gross. Been seeing a baby playing out there. I have to wonder if its the same one.

Our third wall frame is up! One to go, and then the roof supports. Had to make a few modifications, but it's coming together well. Pictures later.

well, I think the paper is secondary anyway. the sterile dirt must be the thing. They still get exposed to cocci but not until they are much older and can handle it better.

I don't think they would get cocci from sterilized dirt.

I think it was on this thread that I posted about our sick cat? Anyway she is home now after spending two nights in hospital. She has a type of lymphoma but it's not as bad as I feared. She will be on a steroid and a special diet for a couple of weeks, not the rest of her life, as I'd feared. DD is like And so am I!
