I wish I could find someone to process them for 2 dollars. IT is a lot wOrk.

Indeed it is! The first year we had chickens, ten years or so ago, DH and I processed 4 or 5 roos with his mom coaching us, yikes, never again! I will off one that is too sick or injured to survive if I have to, but for $2, Mrs. W is my hero!

@h20ratt, do you grate the zsquash? Then just mix it with the other ingredients and bake it? How's about a recipe? You put raisins n walnuts in yours? Dagnabbit, I'm drooling again!

Takes me 45 mins start to finish to clean a chicken. Skinning them is so much easier. And some people just take the breast and thighs w/o even bothering to gut them. They can process one that way in just a couple mins.
