That's so cool. Would love to see it slow motion. Watching a horse or a cheetah, any sort of movement is really interesting in slo-mo.


I thought it was a suggestion about how to help Cap's spur wound. So I was going to say leeches!

Here is what the 'new' pleasure horses look like, whereas 10 years ago they would have been called performance horses.

Did it bleed much after he got you? I always squeeze out as much blood as possible with a puncture wound to try to clean it out. Is your tetanus shot up to date?

Yes shot up to date. Yes, it did bleed a fair amount, I take aspirin. I rinsed it right away with clean water and then with soap and water when I got back to the house.

It's odd how they hold their tails, almost curled upward a bit.

I miss my horses, Cindy. I had a mare that was registerd as half-Arab but was actually 3/4. I bred her twice to pb Arab stallions and got two fillies out of her, a bay and a grey. Although I had been a city girl, I gentle-broke both fillies myself. They used to come in the house on occasion. Sweet girls. The mare, only 14 hh 3, had the longest extended trot! I rode with gals on Appys and QH who mocked her at first for being an Arabian, but when she got into that trot they could not keep up with her galloping.. ☺ Good times!
