Psst, lemme tell ya a secret... I use Lugol's Iodine solution. The body needs iodine, and our soils are depleted. Once I started using it, not only did my energy increase, but my weight started dropping... Maybe that's why I'm so danged healthy for my age. I've been using it for about 5 years now. wink wink..

But salt is iodized.... how much do you take? Sounds yucky!

Do you still have your thyroid ?

Yes, and I had hashimoto's thyroiditis.. Synthroid was blocking the uptake of iodine, but the rest of my body was using/still is using it efficiently. I can't seem to get an appt at the VA, they've been jerking me around badly since I moved up here.. been 3 months + since I first contacted them. Getting my congresswoman involved now.

I take a couple drops in water every other day... the iodine in salt is trash.. you're body can't use it very efficiently.
