How does our kids being fat figure into them catching the virus ?

Not so much catching it as being more susceptible. Most healthy kids exposed to the virus show no symptoms and there is no documented case of a child giving the virus to an adult. Obesity is considered a comorbidity for covid in adults (why I don't want to catch it!), so it's possible that could be the case for kids too.
My overall point is that studies from one country may not apply completely to a different country.

My dad read that if you are over 75 and catch covid you have a 1 in 2000 chance of survival. That really sobered him up and he's more willing now to let me do his shopping. I think he'd be the one that could survive though. Not a single thing wrong with his health.

I think about 3-4 dozen a day BUT not sure if the coon got any of my hens or not. AND some are molting now as well. There are a few I should butcher wouldn't have to pluck but a hand full of feathers.

no I was meaning people in custodial housing whose SSI check goes to the organization that takes care of them

I understand Wishing. That is terrible statistics ! Wish I had someone willing to shop for me. I know if Tom or myself catch it we wont survive. I dont want a breathing machine.
