I had an eastern wood rat living in my shed who kept stealing all kinds of stuff... I finally put a stop to it last night with a big trap and a peanut butter tortilla wrap. Gator took her off to bury her somewhere, but she was still in the trap! So. now it's a waiting game to see where he stuck her.

Thanks, Granny, that's it exactly! Every morning I wake up and think, O God, I can't do this! And then I remember I don't have to ... not by myself anyway. Or as my old friend "Red" from a 12-step program used to say, "Ah cain't. He cain. And Ah reckon Ah'll let Him!"

Did ya wanna see her in the trap? I took a pic. Some species of rats have furry tails.
And yes, I used a stock photo of a rat that had similar coloring.
