I need to get a terra cotta pot for Mr. Darcy. I’ve looked at some but I don’t like the clay colored ones and the brown ones I bought aren’t in the right sizes. Do y’all know if painting will affect the moisture wicking? Maybe a natural stain is better?

I never painted terracotta. Why would wicking matter ?

thats true. Is that the bloat goat ? I remember when Campings goats were in labor they pushed their heads against the wall from pain.

I never painted terracotta. Why would wicking matter ?

Mr. Darcy isn’t drying quickly enough in his plastic pot. I’ve read succulents do better in terra cotta because it’s porous and absorbs moisture, so the soil doesn’t sit wet as long.

Tomorrow I need to finish unloading the truck, then load the equipment for the swap.
I pulled more weeds today, most of them from the gravel driveway. Also cut the rest of the lumber I need for the new run. My syringes and stuff were shipped today, I hope it gets here soon.
