You were saying something earlier about the time of day your hen lays... The process to create an egg ready for deposit takes 26 hrs, so she will lay later each day as time passes, and skip a day when the timing has her laying in the dark.


Oh my goodness! You were hotter than I was at 89, and that's with everything burning!! So much smoke in the sky it acted like clouds and cut the sun a bit. First time I've been grateful for smoke because the expected temp was 102.


Was Robert a Transformers fan? #1 sure was. In fact they are one thing he is keeping along with ALL the Lego, of his childhood toys.

I never painted terracotta. Why would wicking matter ?

Wicking helps water evaporate faster.. So if she painted it or stained a terra cotta pot, it would either a) stop that and it would be more like a plastic pot, or b) peal off really fast due to the constant moisture.
