Granny has a huge kitchen.. I have a submarine kitchen. At least that's what dad called it. But everything is within easy reach, and big enough for one person.

We had a galley kitchen in our first Florida house. You couldn't open the fridge and dishwasher at the same time.

I am missing 2 chickens this evening. One three year old Tolbunt and a Jubilee Orpington pullet that hasn't laid yet. I should have known better than to let them out. Oh heck, I have a headache!

We had a galley kitchen in our first Florida house. You couldn't open the fridge and dishwasher at the same time.

There's a space for a dishwasher, however............. I couldn't afford one when I moved in so I got the basics.. Stove and fridge. Besides, where would the trash and bags of dog food go if I stuck a dishwasher in there? The other end of the kitchen has a breakfast bar with cabinets on either side, but under it is all the chicken feed bags.

Now you can see where all the mess is... back door entrance is mud room, things I need before going outside, this 'n that.

Drink Mawr Water!! Add lemon juice like I do and it's easier to choke down.

I made some progress today.

I have enough deer netting left to cover the whole thing.. Need signs for over the doors.. what should I put.. hens and roos, or guys and gals? I need something 'catchy'.

No, I am not dehydrated. I just checked. I drink tons of water every day.

CS, it is looking good. I guess I am going to have to get up earlier to be able to get things done out there. Hubby is bugging me to get the rest of the chicken wire up on the goat fence.
